femm is an Amsterdam-based art & design studio inherently fascinated by the immediate beauty and power of colour.

Femke Hofhuis founded her studio in 2020, following her career as a set designer. Driven by a deep understanding of energy, the studio creates bespoke design pieces, immersive installations, and refined textiles—ranging from exclusive private commissions to large-scale hospitality projects.

Femke describes her work as "jewellery for the space"—eye-catching focal points that elevate spaces, from sophisticated carpets to bespoke mirrors and distinctive wall sculptures, where expressive colours, form, and material harmonise. Each design radiates vibrancy through a unique approach to colour, while mastering the art of subtle, elegant statements. Femke’s mission is to soften, inspire, and uplift people through her work transforming environments into inviting and energising spaces.
