I refer to this as 'bold blush'. Whether used as an accent or as the main focus, it adds a dynamic and energetic touch to any space. I like a suprise bathroom, so I decided to give my studio bathroom in Amsterdam a modern look by painting it in bold 'YU’.

The names of these colours are my own brainwaves—bits and pieces of names or words that I occasionally jot down in my notes. They are combinations of letters that I simply find aesthetically pleasing when put together.

This philosophy is the cornerstone of our fairf x femm collection. Our colours aren't just visually appealing; they are also highly practical and suitable for use in your home.

Semi-gloss Lacquer paint

Our semi-gloss lacquer paint is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. It also blends well with our multi-primer and is suitable for surfaces such as wood, metal, and/or plastic. The fairf semi-gloss lacquer paint is scratch and impact resistant, maintaining its elasticity easily. This means minimal risk of cracking and splitting. The subtle sheen and deep color of fairf lacquer paint remains visible for a long time. This product is perfect for a semi-gloss finish on window frames, doors, furniture, and radiators.

Handle Fairf with Care: We have formulated this product very carefully, but there are still some warnings to be aware of. Keep fairf out of reach of children to prevent them from playing with it. In case of ingestion, consult a doctor. This product contains <0.7% Volatile Organic Compounds and no Cobalt. EU limit for this product (cat A/d.): 130g/l (2010). Contains a mixture of: 5-chloro-2-methyl-2H-isothiazol-3-one [EC no. 247-500-7] and 2-methyl-2H-isothiazol-3-one [EC no. 220-239-6] (3:1). May cause an allergic reaction. Note! Dangerous inhalable droplets may be formed during spraying. Do not inhale spray mist.

Description:

Plant-based opaque semi-gloss lacquer paint on a water basis. Suitable for both indoor and outdoor use on various surfaces.

Application: The lacquer paint can be applied with a brush, roller, air sprayer, or airless spray at a temperature between 10 and 30°C (relative humidity max 85%). Refer to the datasheet for possible dilution percentages. Stir well before use! The substrate must be clean, dry, free from grease, wax, silicone, and dust.

Drying: At 20°C and a relative humidity of 60%, the paint is dust-dry after about 30 minutes and can be recoated after about 1.5 hours (drying time may vary with higher film thicknesses and dilution).

Coverage: With 1 liter of fairf semi-gloss lacquer paint, you can paint approximately 20m². This depends on the material you're painting, the quality of the substrate, and the shape of what you're painting.

Testing and Certifications: Fairf meets strict environmental and quality standards. We have had our paint tested by external experts for durability, quality, and environmental impact. We have been awarded the EU Ecolabel for our environmentally friendly products (excluding fairf primer). Refer to the datasheet for an overview of all test results and certifications.

Packaging and Shelf Life: Fairf semi-gloss lacquer paint is available in 0.75 and 2.5 liter cans. The paint is frost-free and cool in a tightly closed container, with a minimum shelf life of 12 months.
